New Blog!

Dear Friends and Family,

Finally, the end of Steven's travel season is drawing near! He has one more week on the road which he'll spend in Kentucky and West Virginia (I think). Since our wedding we have spent about 4 days together :( Between school and work (with a promotion) I have been very busy and have not been in touch to let you all know our new and exciting news!

5 days before the wedding Steven and I got a call from our realtor that there was a house for sale that we HAD to look at. She apologized about the timing but told us that this house was going to go fast because of location and charm! Between wedding appointments and last minute craft projects Mom and I went to see the house on Stuart and immediately fell in love with it. Since Steven was traveling, he had to come down from Northern Virginia in between college fairs to see the house before we made an offer. The day before the wedding the sellers accepted our offer and we bought a house! We are closing on the 30th of this month. (Ironically, exactly 1 year to the date Matt and Kelly, our dearest married couple friends, closed on their first house.) We're taking it as a good sign. As of next Friday our new address will be:

On a different note-due to high demand we will also use this blog to share with you wedding updates! As of today, the photographer has released the pictures to me on a private website. I promise as soon as I receive the pictures on a CD I will upload them here and make copies for anyone who would like.
